The reading for today is identical to that for the previous class: the idea is to revisit the first two chapters and make sure that you can tie the broad ideas of Zhuangzi’s Daoism to specific passages in the text. These stories can be particularly challenging to interpret — and it may be that they are purposefully ambiguous, given the text’s seeming endorsement of a multiplicity of perspectives.
