This class session is an opportunity to discuss material from Monday's guest lecture on transformative justice and to explore how the work of systemic political change relates to the four historical approaches to the good life we've covered in this course.

- Discuss the goals of the transformative justice movement and the connections between self-work and sociopolitical work
- Discuss your experiences putting the Stoics’ approach to the good life into practice
- Take stock of all the approaches to the good life covered in this course in Aristotle, Confucianism, Daoism, and Stoicism
Before Class
- Longtime practitioners of restorative and transformative justice discuss the everyday skills that we need to develop to reduce violence and to address harm; featuring Shira Hassan, Martina Kartman, Rachel Herzing, Mia Mingus, Priya Rai, Lea Roth, and Sonya Shah; created by Project Nia and the Barnard Center for Research on Women
- If you haven’t already, complete the Perusall assignment readings with excerpts on the transformative justice movement
